    Female Leadership at Quota

    The corporate group has always relied on innovation, quality, and strong leadership. A central component of this success is the promotion of diversity and gender equality, which are firmly embedded in the company’s philosophy. Today, we employ over 400 women worldwide, nearly 60 of whom hold leadership positions and play a key role in shaping the future of the group.

    Below, we introduce some of these outstanding women who, through their personal stories and experiences, help shape the company culture and inspire the next generation of leaders.

    Quota, Germany

    Alexandra Akman

    Leader with Heart and Vision for the Future

    Alexandra has been part of the Poly-clip family for over two decades. After many years with direct customer contact, she took over the management of spare parts operations in Germany in 2019, where she coordinated areas such as planning, internal sales, logistics, and shipping. Her organizational skills were put to daily use in this multifaceted role and earned her the recognition of the entire team.

    In 2024, Alexandra began a new journey: As the responsible person for sustainability at the parent company Quota, she faces one of the most pressing challenges of our time. For her, this is a matter of the heart: “The values of the corporate group have shaped my daily work for over 20 years. My new role is a challenge that I find great joy in and one that fills me with pride.”

    At 39, an impressive career path that reflects her foresight and passion for the company.

    Ana Matic

    Leading with Passion in Sales

    Ana has been an important part of Quota since 2008. After eight years of responsibility for internal sales and finances, she took over the management of sales in the Balkan region in 2016. She combines strategic expertise with a passion for customer relationships and tailored solutions.

    Ana accompanies projects with heart – from the first idea to realization. She coordinates sales, technical support, and logistics to ensure a reliable and exceptional service at all times. Her special focus is on recognizing her customers' needs and developing customized solutions that create real added value.

    In a region where tradition and innovation are often intertwined, Ana has proven how important diverse perspectives are. Through her commitment and personal effort, she has gained the trust of customers and helped Hrana-Tec attain a leading market position.

    Irina Teufel

    A Success Story of Strong Leadership

    Irina Teufel is not just a CEO – she is a visionary who has significantly shaped the Ukrainian economy for years. Between 2015 and 2019, she led the Begarat sales company in Ukraine to outstanding successes, firmly establishing the company in the market. In a demanding industry, she demonstrated her strength and foresight, always staying on course even in challenging times.

    With the acquisition of Process-Pack International and the renaming to Protek Systems, Irina stepped into a new era as CEO in 2019. Particularly impressive is her tireless commitment to bakery products: Through targeted investments and strategic expansion, she secured Protek Systems a strong market position. Irina Teufel is a shining example of courage, perseverance, and entrepreneurial acumen – an inspiring leader who provides stability and growth to her company.

    Müberra Arslan Kahraman

    Successful Leadership through Strategy and Innovation

    Müberra began her career as a Sales Representative for a former Poly-clip distributor in Turkey. With her talent in sales and market instincts, she contributed early on to the company’s success. When Process Pack International founded Gidatek Makine in Istanbul in 2002, she took on a key role: shaping marketing and logistics, leading the company to growth with a visionary style.

    Since 2014, Müberra has been the General Manager of Gidatek Makine. Despite economic challenges such as inflation and currency devaluation, she kept the company stable and drove it forward with innovative solutions and market adjustments. Under her leadership, Gidatek has become a major player in the Turkish machinery industry. Her strategic acumen and leadership ensure the company’s sustainable development and make her an outstanding figure in the industry.

    Karin Janse

    Passion Meets Experience: The Face of Marketing

    Karin embodies experience, passion, and determination. She started her career at Poly-clip Systems as a newly appointed Europe Secretary, managing appointments, organizing travel, and handling office tasks. However, Karin wanted more: With evening studies in marketing, she laid the foundation for her further path. She soon took on responsibilities for advertising and trade fair planning in Eastern Europe and Asia, demonstrating organizational talent and cultural sensitivity.

    Her career then led her to gain valuable experience in the financial world, followed by several years of successful self-employment. She then took on leadership positions in marketing within the machinery industry. In 2023, she returned to her roots and became the Marketing Manager at Process-Pack International.

    With her grounded nature and tireless dedication, Karin shows what Female Leadership is all about: endurance, courage to change, and the ability to lead teams with heart and expertise. Her experience and enthusiasm make her not only an excellent marketing manager but also a role model for women in leadership positions.

    Karin is more than a marketing enthusiast – she is a visionary who embraces challenges and sees change as an opportunity.

    Angelika Jung

    From Numbers Expert to CFO

    Angelika has been part of the corporate group for over ten years and has had an impressive career. Her journey began in financial accounting, where she quickly distinguished herself with expertise and commitment. These successes laid the foundation for her promotion to head of financial accounting, before she took on the position of CFO and Chief Compliance Officer at Poly-clip Systems in January 2024. She is responsible for the companies in Hattersheim and Gedern as well as the group’s consolidated financial statements.

    Angelika is convinced that “numbers connect, as they help find common solutions.” She uses financial data not only for analysis but also to promote effective and sustainable business decisions.

    Angelika is particularly impressed by the respectful interaction throughout the corporate group, which she sees as the foundation for successful and responsible corporate governance.

    Before joining Poly-clip Systems, Angelika gained valuable experience in an international hotel chain and a national retail company. These diverse perspectives have strengthened her leadership abilities and deepened her understanding of the importance of a strong team.

    “My time at Poly-clip has been marked by continuous growth, and I am proud of what we have achieved as a team. I look forward to facing the next challenges.”

    Promar, Poland

    Monika Czerwinska

    Quality is Strength

    Monika Czerwińska, Quality Director and Management Representative for Quality at Promar, built her career from the ground up in the quality sector. With a degree in food biotechnology, she laid the foundation for her expertise early on and developed a deep understanding of the importance of solid quality management.

    A key milestone in her career was the certification of the globally recognized BRC quality management system just three months after the new plant in Zawiercie opened in 2015. Under her leadership, the plant quickly established itself at the highest level. Today, it operates with BRC and IFS standards, meeting the strictest industry standards.

    In 2019, Monika was appointed Quality Director, marking a significant step in her career development. In this role, she uses her experience and commitment to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to changing market demands and regulations.

    Her focus on the quality of raw materials and finished products is reflected in the satisfaction of even the most demanding customers. Her motto, “Quality stays in memory long after the price is forgotten,” underscores her vision and leadership strength.

    Monika represents professionalism, passion, and the strength of quality, which sustainably shapes the success of Promar.

    Oksana Chulanskaya

    Successful Management through Versatility and Drive

    Oksana began her career at Poly-clip System in Moscow 25 years ago – a journey that took her from being an all-rounder in office management to the top of the organization. In the beginning, with a small team, she took on almost every task: sales, logistics, trade fair organization, service deployments, and handling imports. Her versatility and tireless dedication made her indispensable.

    Over the years, Oksana built structures, optimized processes, and ensured smooth operations. Her ability to respond flexibly to challenges helped the company move forward. She herself says: "It’s not about how long you’ve been with a company, but how you grow and achieve success together."

    In 2022, she took over as Managing Director – a role that brought not only more responsibility but also required a new dynamic within the team. The transition from colleague to leader was challenging, but Oksana handled it with clarity and strategic acumen.

    Oksana’s leadership style is based on open communication, collaboration, and a spirit of innovation. She drives the company forward with foresight and creates an environment in which her team can thrive. She adds: "Without the strong local team and the global corporate group, this wouldn’t be possible."

    With her forward-thinking and solution-oriented approach, she is securing the long-term success of Poly-clip System in Russia.

    Mélanie Piché

    Architect of Stable Financial Structures

    Before joining Nordipak in July 2025, Mélanie gained many years of solid experience in accounting. After completing her degree in accounting, she initially worked at an auditing firm, where she built a strong professional foundation. She later decided to pursue part-time self-employment, allowing her to apply her expertise in a flexible and practical way. These diverse experiences continue to shape her structured and solution-oriented approach to financial processes.

    Since joining Nordipak LTD, she has played a key role in building up the accounting function of the young, rapidly growing company. From the outset, her responsibilities included bookkeeping, payroll, as well as accounts payable and receivable. As many structures had to be created from scratch, Mélanie was also involved in implementing suitable systems and conducting in-depth research on regulatory requirements. In the current growth phase, she is increasingly taking on leadership responsibilities and preparing to manage her own team, enabling her to focus more on higher-level tasks.

    Respectful collaboration, trust, and teamwork are particularly important to her. She firmly believes that a supportive and appreciative work environment is the foundation for efficiency and sustainable success. Despite new challenges—such as familiarizing herself with new product areas—Mélanie continues to develop professionally and actively shapes the financial future of Nordipak. A strong example of female leadership within the corporate group.

    Patrycja Klementowska

    Ensuring Quality, Building Trust

    Patrycja is the Head of Quality Control at Podanfol, using her technical expertise every day to ensure the highest standards in products and processes. Her journey began with a PhD in chemical technologies, during which she also developed management and organizational skills. This combination of knowledge forms the foundation of her work and enables her to make well-informed decisions in the production process.

    Patrycja has been part of the company since 2014. Four years later, she took on her current role as Head of Quality Control – an important milestone that recognized her experience, dedication, and professional expertise. In this role, she is responsible for the entire quality process, ensuring that materials and products always meet the highest standards. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of her work: “It gives me great satisfaction to see that our efforts directly result in high-quality products and satisfied customers,” she says.

    In addition to quality assurance, Patrycja is also responsible for her team. She emphasizes open communication and a work environment where everyone feels heard, allowing her to share expertise effectively and continuously develop her team’s skills.

    With her combination of deep technical knowledge, precise quality management, and responsible leadership, Patrycja exemplifies what female leadership at Podanfol means: optimizing processes, reliably ensuring product quality, and creating an environment where people can succeed.

    PRO-EX, DENMARK

    Pernille Bager

    With Vision in Financial Leadership

    Pernille has been the Financial Manager at Pro-Ex since August 2025, bringing fresh momentum to the finance department. Previously, she worked as a financial accountant in an international IT software company, gaining valuable experience in handling complex financial processes. When the opportunity arose to take on the new position at Pro-Ex, she did not hesitate – stepping into her first leadership role.

    From the very beginning, Pernille has been inspired by the variety of her tasks. “I particularly value being able to handle tasks independently, from daily payments to the annual financial statements,” she says. In this role, she serves as the interface between the CEO and external auditors, ensures reliable financial information, and also oversees compliance with the Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste.

    Pernille is a central part of the financial processes at Pro-Ex. The open, professional working environment allows her to work in a structured, focused manner with a high degree of responsibility. She approaches challenges with motivation and curiosity and looks forward to further developing her expertise and continuously expanding her skills.

    With commitment, a willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility, Pernille shapes the financial processes at Pro-Ex and demonstrates that leaders can emerge at any stage of their professional journey.

    Valentina Pirillo

    Driving Innovation for Sustainable Biotechnologies

    Dr. Valentina Pirillo is a Research and Development Specialist at Themis in Italy, leveraging her scientific expertise to advance sustainable and circular technologies. Her career began in academic research, where she focused on innovative biotechnological solutions for ecological sustainability. With a PhD in Life Sciences and Biotechnology, she developed in-depth knowledge in biocatalysis for plastic recycling and waste valorization.

    During her academic career, Valentina participated in several funded research projects and published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals on biochemistry, protein engineering, and industrial enzymology. This scientific experience provides the foundation for her applied work at Themis, where she bridges innovation with real industrial needs.

    In her role as an R&D Specialist, Valentina designs pilot experiments tailored to the specific needs of clients. She identifies enzymatic solutions to make waste treatment and valorization processes more efficient and sustainable — always in line with green technology principles. Her passion for scientific rigor and practical innovation drives her to transform next-generation technologies into scalable, future-ready solutions.

    Valentina Pirillo exemplifies what female leadership in research looks like: with expertise, creativity, and solution-oriented thinking, she actively shapes the future of sustainable biotechnologies and strengthens Themis’s position as a pioneer in innovative, eco-friendly solutions.
